After what turned out to be a phenomenal first night in France, we were amped for the rest of our escapade. No hangover! SCORE! Maybe those Glacéau VitaminWaters did help after all.

First order of the day – Shopping! As much as we would of loved to spend our hard earned South African Rands on La Crosseitte, our pockets took us to Rue d’Antibes. (Mel)^{2 ,} Lindi and Toolz, all set out to find the latest in clothing and accessories. This avenue has awesome shops with well known brands with other brands local to France. Majority of the shops either cater to women or had average menswear, hence my one tiny shopping bag. But one men’s shop which caught our attention, stocked everything from Paul Smith, to Sevens to Dolce & Gabbana. Melody Maker even had the owner try on and model clothing, and he wasn’t half bad looking at all, which helped. We managed to sneak in Zara and Sephora, and a quick bite at a deli on one of the side streets.

Text from Marina: “We going for lunch at z-plague. Let me know if you in.” SWEET! Off we all go to lunch. ‘It’s not about the money, money, money! We don’t want your money money money!” What? Is that Jessie J? No ways! Yesterday, Lady Gaga, today Jessie J! And me being the forward one, who knows the lyrics and all the songs, jamming to every lyric! Jessie’s set included her 3 hit singles, “Do It Like A Dude”, “Price Tag” and the latest “Nobody’s Perfect”.

More Rosé and VitaminWater at yet a great lunch, I still hadn’t bought anything yet. So I grabbed my shopping buddy, Cosmopolitan’s Lindi Brownell, and we headed to Hermés. All I wanted was a Collier de Chein bracelet and a belt. Unfortunetely the bracelets were out of stock, and my heart sank, but the helpful salesman made my day by bringing out the belt kit. A reversible Hermés belt would finally be mine. If you know me well, these items have been on my wish list for a while. Nothing like walking back to the Hotel Matrinez with an orange bag, and paparazzi mistaking you for a celebrity, taking your photo. Soon after we all head off to the press conference hosted by the IFP (Independent Filmakers Project) and sponsored by Calvin Klein. Bumping in to Cheryl Cole and Jane Fonda leaving the hotel for a premiere. And managed to grab Jessie J for a photo. So, there Liza Johnson was talking about her film, "Return", with majority of the cast and crew in the film being female, which tells the story of a woman who returns home from a tour of duty and having trouble adjusting. Hang on, wait a minute?? Who just walked in? It’s Eva from Gossip Girl! Clemece Poesy.

I knew she looked familiar. Turns out she plays Joan of Arc in her Cannes Film. Nice work! But sorry I can’t stay, I have a Calvin Klein Party to attend. It’s surreal when you are walking into party that Rosario Dawson, Uma Thurman and Vanessa Hudgens just arrived at. I handed a glass of Moët Chandon to Melinda Shaw and we worked the room, and found Uma recluse in a dark corner. As she walked past me towards the beach I said, “Uma you’re gorgeous.” “Oh, me? No way!” she replied, which I thought was cute. Moments later the hip lesbian DJ put on Mirriam Makeba which immediately called all our South African #GVWCannes Crew together.

As we left the shindig, Owen Wilson was walking down the stairs to what Melinda Shaw said to him, ”Owen, the party’s over!” Needless to say, there was pandemonium with Owen Wilson’s arrival, but we still got our his and hers Calvin Klein “euphoria” fragrances. Of course the night wasn’t over, and we were still on our way to Villa des inrocks! A gorgeous Villa, cherries and a photo booth is all we needed to have a great time! None of us were listening to Mark, the Glaceau VitaminWater guy manning the booth, when 7 South African’s jam packed and started taking crazy pictures. One free bus ride to the famous steps to the theater we posed and mad it by foot back to The Martinez. But, it was only 3am, the night couldn’t end now. It was just beginning because David Guetta was playing at the sexy club Baoli. My partner in crime, Melinda and I hopped into a taxi and before we knew it we had heart shaped balloons in our hands, requesting Guetta to play “Who’s That Chick”.

Again, bottles everywhere and it reminded me of how Taboo used to be, in it’s “IT” days. 4:30am. Good show - just cause we Cannes!

Packed and bags ready to go, we got checked in at OR Tambo. Chief-Editor of Heat Magazine South Africa, Melinda Shaw and I had a quick bite and headed off for our destination…Cannes! I promised that I would bring a vuvuzela for my boy, and remembered to get one for him. I mean, that’s definitely something you cannot get in the South of France, and with him embracing South African culture, I thought it would be nice to get it for him.

Fast forward a 10 hour plane ride and an intake of “No Strings Attached” starring Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher, we arrived in Zurich. Online Editor for Cosmopolitan Magazine, Lindi Brownell and I quickly became good friends – our common interest was Hermés. We admired the luxury fashion in Zurich airport, before another quick plane ride to Nice. A car ride of about 40 minutes, we arrived at what would be our new home – Hotel Martinez, which I might add was base camp for Glacéau VitmainWater Teams across the world. There were also paparazzi and swarms of people around our hotel upon our arrival...for me of course! But, more about that later.

After checking in, we all freshened up and met at the pool and made our way to the Glaceau VitaminWater z-plague for a little lunch. Choice of drink would only be Rosé Wine, it is the south of France, and Glaécau VitaminWater so that you don’t get too wasted. While Janez Vermeiren tucked into he’s “Sexy Beef”, we were serenaded by Lady Gaga’s new single “Judas”. But wait this was abnormally loud and there was a stage next to us. Oh wait, this was sound check for Lady Gaga’s performance for Le Grand Journal. We couldn’t see her properly, because of the screens covering her and bodyguards in the way, but managed to snap a pic of her bum and hair, while choreographer Laurieann Gibson gave her and the dancers direction.

Got our feet wet and a few more pics we got dessert and more Rosé, which resembled a make up kit, gave us strength for the shopping trip we would embark on later in the day. I had a chance to speak to my boy and we exchanged excitement, I came back to my room to find 24 white roses, with a note that read: “Can’t wait to see you, Welcome to Cannes”. My heart melted, and I couldn’t be more happier.

After relaxing by the pool and taking all of Cannes in, we all put on our Sunday best and headed off to L’Annex to have dinner with the #GVWCannes crew, and our new NBFF (New Best Friends Forever) Erik and Derek. Our first night in Cannes was starting off to be a great one with the boys discovering their beer of choice Desperado which was like a cider but with a hint of tequila. There was no stopping us tonight. When in doubt, always speak to the concierge. They tell you where is the hottest place and how you get in. Enter Gael, the best concierge in the world, pointed us in the direction of VIP Room, the hottest club in Cannes.

Waltzing in with 3 girls on my side, we got in hassle free, because the bouncers could see we belonged in the VIP Room. Revolving Dancefloor, drummers, girls with nipple caps, little people, magnum bottles of numerous alcohol brands and people on stilts set the scene for what would be a crazy night. We danced the night away, and this was only the first night.

Let's get one thing straight: Lady Gaga is very calculated with everything she does. Anderson Cooper followed her on her European leg of her Tour last year and interviewed her. No topic was off limits. I really loved this interview, because it was honest and the audience got to pick her brain a bit more. I respect her as an artist and a writer. I feel that the fashion is a distraction, though, from her true talent.

I am totally in love with the Tommy Hilfiger Spring/Summer 2011 campaign. The preppy all-American look fits in with the family portrait and does a sterling job at fitting everyone in. Although there is a lot going on in the Craig McDean photographs, they portray everything true to the brand.

I woke up to news via heat Magazine journalist Jessica Levitt that Kourtney Kardashian donned one of his pieces to the award ceremony. Sisters Kim and Khloe wore Catherine Malandrino and Alexander McQueen, respectively. His dress was in great company. She complimented the dress with her Cartier Love Bracelets (PURAL: Bracelets) pictured above. Khloé debuted her red hair.

Creative Director and all-round-awesome-man at Elle Magazine, Joe Zee has his own show coming out on the Sundance Channel. You might be familiar with his appearances on MTV's "The City" and a hilarious cameo on Gossip Girl with Rachel Zoe. The brutally honest fashionista follows struggling fashion designer's process in creating their collection. He advises them and helps them in each episode reach their goals. When it comes to fashion Mr. Joe Zee is a king. I remember seeing him on Tyra Banks produced show "Stylista" as a judge, and not only does he know what he's talking about but you learn so much from him.

Let me guess...the season will show how in love Khloé and Lamar really are; there'll be an episode about Rob Kardashian and boundary issues/living arrangement argument and a season finale of Khloé possibly pregnant and if Rob will be signed to a label, yes: Rob is going to be a musician.

Singer-songwriter-actress-wife-philanthropist-(What-else-hasn't-she-done) Beyoncé can add model to her resume. She strutted down the catwalk at a very intimate and private showing of Tom Ford's latest Spring/Summer 2011 collection, in September.

Video footage has only been made available now. Apparently, a selected guestlist of press were allowed to attend this show, which in included famed photographer Terry Richardson and Elle's Creative Director, Joe Zee. Tom Ford debut's his first womenswear collection since designing for Gucci & YSL. The likes of Chanel Iman, Daphne Guiness and Julianne Moore also graced the runway for the presentation. She's helped Miley Cyrus co-write her hit song "Party In The USA" (even I like the track) working with "it" pop producer Dr.Luke and new rap star B.o.B. Justin Timberlake calls her "the best singer in the world right now", and her fans include Alicia Keys, Kylie Minogue and Paloma Faith.

There's talks of her writing for Britney Spears, Willow Smith and Christina Aguilera's new projects, and X-Factor winner Matt Cardle. How old is she? 22 years old.

In amongst writing for other people, she is also persuing her own music career. Her video "Do It Like A Dude" off her forth coming album "Who You Are" has been released and you can watch it below.

Her style is grungy, ghetto and she's gonna get everyone to grab their crotch like a dude! This is one to look out for in 2011.

Kim Kardashian can add singer to one of her many titles. As I reported, the song that leaked was fake and not the Armenian princess singing. Kardashian premiered her song on New Years Eve at her friend's nightclub, TAO Las Vegas.

I'm not going to pass judgement until I've heard the song in better quality. It's reported that she is working with Christina Milian's ex, The Dream. Kanye West is also rumoured to be in the Hype Williams directed music video. Here are some stills from the music video.

To be honest, it's a no brainer. It was either singing or acting. It genius in fact. She'll be able to promote and coincide her album release with the recording of the sixth season of Keepin' Up With The Kardashians. It's that time of year again, where the horse's come out to play and I'm not talking about the one the jockey's ride on. Last year, was my first time attending the L'Ormarins Queen's Plate horse races held in Cape Town. January 8th, marks the prestigious event's 150th anniversary, and winning horse Pocket Power's final race.

Masterminds behind nightclub hotspots LAVO, TAO, Avenue and I think 1Oak opened another Marquee (existing one is in New York) in Las Vegas, within the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas resort. Where the likes of Brandy, Christina Milian, Selita E. Banks and Mel B attended. Seems like Las Vegas had a lot of star-studded foot traffic over on New Years Eve.

So how did Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Coldplay, John Mayer, Kanye West, Memphis Bleek and Florence + The Machine all spend New Years Eve? On stage of course! Newly opened luxury resort Cosmopolitan Las Vegas played host to the exclusive event. Guests that graced the purple carpet included Blake Lively, Oprah's BFF's Gayle King and Colin Cowie (who wore a glam Jacob & Co. watch), actor Forest Whitaker, Sugar Ray Leonard, (shew! wipes forehead, takes another deep breath), Mark Wahlberg, Kellan Lutz, Dr. Dre and many more.

Jigga performed hits like "99 Problems", "Dirt Off Your Shoulders" and "Young Forever" with Beyoncé. Queen Bee performed a ballad rendition of "Crazy In Love" and a cover of Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" and teamed up with Chris Martin's Coldplay for "Halo". View rehearsal videos below:

Lady Gaga's Little Monsters start the new year with exciting news. Mama Monster announced via her Twitter page, at the start of the New Year the dates for the premiere of her new single "Born This Way" and the album release date. She also Twitpic'ed the above image as promised. The song will debut Feburary 13th, which coincides with her Anderson Cooper interview and Grammy night and May 23rd for the album.

Growing up, I used to watch the Smurfs. The blue little creatures on K-TV, back then, give or take 20 years ago. Now, they are releasing a feature film. Sony Pictures Animation is trying to take Pixar/Disney's spot. Look, I don't think they'll get there, but i do think they can pull off an excellent job. But really, a cartoon that I used to watch years ago??! You got to be kidding me (The pun stays) Kids today don't even know what the Smurfs are. They are too busy with iPhones, BBM Pins, Ben Ten and texting the nanny for a peanut butter sandwich. And to add to the craziness, it's in 3D.

The movie looks cute, but it should of been released years ago. What next? The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Angelina Jolie Pitt as April no doubt! Yawn!

So, I'm watching Trace TV, and this music video comes on. I don't know this artist and never seen this music video ever. The first thing that blows me away, is voice (He's hot so that helps, too). The video itself isn't a huge production but it's entertaining and kept me glued to the TV.

Ladies & gentlemen, I would like to introduce you to drummer turned singer: Medi (birth name Mehdi Parisot). He is signed to an independent French label called Atmosphériques. His single "How Would You Do It" is already making airwaves and will feature on his debut album, "You Got Me (Moving)" out January 2011. He's a bit of soul, rock 'n roll and a bit of pop. A little Sam Sparro meets Russell Brand meets early days of Robin Thicke.

In amongst the invited guest were Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton, newly weds Katy Perry and Russell Brand, Zac Posen, Estelle and of course Maxwell (to support Selita). I am sure these were the hottest invites to get.

Above is a video a week prior, to the show of the fittings. Each garment and accessories are literally fitted to each model. The likes of mommies Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio accompanied also by South African model Candace Swanepoel. There are six themes with the overall theme being love. The creatives at Victoria Secret are amazing. The show will air in America on CBS, November 30th at 9pm.

Hit television show, "So You Think You Can Dance?" Is back, and by the looks of it a bang. We got introduced to the Top 16 contestants at the "it" venue of the moment, The Oxford, where the contestants got their 5 seconds of fame and what it would be like on the other side of the velvet rope. Of course they were on best behaviour; not only were the judges there (shout-out to Didi Moses - love you!), but influential people in the industry. The kids are young, being between ages 18 and 20, on average. They even got a chance to showcase their talent on the dance floor. We'll be glued to SABC 1, 18h30 every Saturday to see who takes the coveted title.

It's quite crazy that, after every season of this syndicated show, they become crazier and crazier. Soon after the success of the Real Housewives of Orange County, came the The Real Housewives of Atlanta. I had the privilege of witnessing an episode on a Jet Blue flight from New York to Florida. I lowered my IQ in the space of an hour. But it's the train wreck show which you keep on watching and coming back for more. More recently there has been The Real Housewives of D.C and New Jersesy, the latter ending in a screaming match at the Reunion show. Host, Andy Cohen had to pull the housewives away from each other, by their "Snooki-poofs".

Enter, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The cast includes Paris Hilton's aunty, Kyle Richards which should be interesting. She's beautiful. But what we really want to see is the mud-slinging cat fights. Here's hoping the Cali girls will live up to their predecessors.

With new albums on the horizons, Ameriie (not a typo, her new stage name) & Kelly Rowland are bringing new sounds, and new hair. I like that changing up the hair, is also part of the package, and almost the beginning of a new era, new image. I love it! Idols is back and better than ever!

Idols is back and better than ever. I have been looking forward to this night, and the season premiere of the singing contest was nothing short of that. This year Idols kicks off with a bang on M-Net with two presenters Liezel van der Westhuizen and ex-Surviour contestant Proverb. They are fun fantastic and I'm looking forward to them being in our living rooms for the upcoming weeks. And the best news, judge Dave Thompson has been cut! He was an unbearable snoozefest! And they are bringing in celebrity guest judges!

Like any other Idols contest, the show brought the crazies. WOW!! And they were nothing short of this. Do people like this really exist in South Africa? I am shocked to my core. Here are videos of my favourites.

And then there was the one that blew me away. Elvis Blue is going to be on everyone's lips around the water fountain at work. I absolutely love this guy. Not only was his story tugging on the heart strings, but he is talented and brought me to tears. Cut to 2:30 to watch his story.

But I have to say this season of Idols is exceptional. Right from the editing to the music. I really enjoyed watching it. We are in for a ride.

Ok, now I'm angry. Yoh, the Dream has got me "Chris-Brown-mad". Is this guy for real? Today he wrote a public apology on his website, about his current separation with singer Christina Milian. First it was the Beyonce comment he made, then it was the Ciara comment. It didn't stop there - images of him and another woman were leaked and the whole thing went out of control. He begins his post with the title: "In My Own Words" - This shouldn't be in his own words because he's as dumb as shit, and should of been over seen by his non-existent publicist. Why is he even making a public apology? He should be apologising to the mother of his child first and foremost! The douche goes on to pull out the "Jesus" card. Again, he menitons that his marriage "wasn't successful" - what? was it a VISA application that didn't go through. "I'm sorry for the embarrassment to everyone involved!" he goes on to say...uuumm you are the only one embarrassed idiot! Wait for it, it gets dramatic towards the end: "I've cried about this for months, after interviews, after prayer and I've tried to take my own life at a point because of the failure that was looming." - Take my own life? Bitch please, you too arrogant to do that. Terius need to put his dick, back in his pants and shut his mouth. Coward even deleted his Twitter account. He's pathetic and I hope Christina Milian takes him to the cleaners.

Love The Way You Lie by Eminem

So I'm sure you've heard this song already, with the infamous Rihanna hook. Eminem, returns with his latest effort, "Recovery". And to be honest, the tracks are growing on me. Subsequent to me reading tweets and Facebook status updates reading: "Just gonna stand there and watch me burn, that's alright because I like the way it hurts." Which are disturbing lyrics to say the least. The song is moving and powerful, but I am scared that it will be killed by the death of the 35050 ringtone. The song is haunting and Eminem spits hard on the track with Rihanna's soft, delicate and dare I say it...good vocals, provide a juxtaposition between the the two.

There is only one person to direct this music video. A person with a vision outside of the box and brings a new dimension to the music: Music video director Jonas Åkerlund. He makes you think after watching music videos, and especially for a track like this, in my opinion it needs a strong music video. Let's see if Eminem will deliver. Kids, prepare to hear this song everywhere.

At last night's BET Awards, Chris Brown took the stage to perform a tribute to the late music icon, Michael Jackson. Of course BET did this because the kid has been mimicking Jackson from nappies, and he has been the poster-boy for Woman Abuse, so what better way to redeem himself. Firstly, he lip-synced the first part of the performance, and did a poor job at it too. The only interesting part of it were the silhouettes during "Smooth Criminal", but they weren't in-sync, and made it awful. Then came the emotive images, for "Man In The Mirror". They should of put Rihanna's beat up face while as one of them. Would of loved to of seen the reaction of the audience. He cried like a little girl, trying to get through the song. I know I am awfully late with this one, but I just had to share. Maybe it's my obsession with Kellan Lutz, (who by the way rates South Africa as one of his favourite destinations). So Lutz, together with Mehcad Brooks, Fernando Verdasco, and Hidetoshi Nakata star in the latest Calvin Klein Underwear Campaign. It's hot, it's sexy, it's provocative, it'll make your heart race. The clip was directed by Darius Khondji. With other brands such as Emporio Armani making headway with their label endorsing the likes of the Beckhams, Cristiano Ronaldo and Megan Fox, they had to do something. Nothing better than male nudity.

But don't be to quick to go order your favourite coffee just yet. They only "Proudly Brew" the coffee, so it's not quite the Starbucks experience that we all know and love. Needless to say, the barista was confused when I ordered a Venti White Chocolate Mocha at 140°.

Much to my amazement, Italian shoe brand Salvatore Ferragamo will be hitting our shores soon in Sandton City. I don't know to much detail about this, all I know is that they have the best mens footwear, money can buy. The store will be opening on the same level as Louis Vuitton.

Fashion at it's Best: 2010 Costume Institute Gala

Out of all the events in the year, the one that I always look forward to the most is the Metropolitan Ball aka Costume Insitute Gala. The fashion is always beyond perfect, and I feel that everyone dresses exceptionally well. I prefer this fashion over the Academy Awards and Grammy Red Carpets. So without futher a-due, let us got through the picks.

(In no particular order)

Best Dressed:

Blake Lively in Marchesa. Trend: Short and textured. Blake knows she has gorgeous legs and it's great that she shows them off. I love blue on her, although that's her go to colour, but she knocked it out the park. I can see her becoming the muse for Versace soon.

Alessandra Ambrosio in Versace. Trend: Nude.Not only is this woman drop dead gorgeous, but she knows what is best to wear for her body. She looked stunning in this gown.

Nicole Richie in Marc Jacobs. Trend: Metallic. When I saw this image, I gasped for air! Nicole looks flawless. I am totally obsessed with what she wore. I am beyond. She killed it for me! Love love love!

Gisele Bunschen in Alexander Wang. Trend: Vixen. It is undeniable that this woman is beyond beautiful and what she wore to this event signified that. I think this dress is phenomenal and perfect for her. I loved everything about it.

Chanel Iman in Michael Kors jumpsuit. Trend: Metallic + Jumpsuit. It model of the moment dazzled in this number. I love that it looks oversized on her frame, and she choose the gold, which was the colour on all runways these past fashion weeks. Nicely done.

Zoe Saldana in Calvin Klein. Trend: Off the shoulder. Zoe being the movie starlet of this year, chose this classic number from CK. It makes her look so glamourous and chic. Especially with the accessory that she wore. Although this dress tend to the formal side, it suited the event.

Jessica Alba in Sohpie Theallet. Trend: Nude. As much as I don't like this woman, she looked wonderful in this creation, which I'm not to familiar with the designer. The colour of the dress went well with her skin tone and was a perfect dress for the the occasion.

Jessica Stam in Rachel Roy. Trend: Purple. OMGee!!! This is too beautiful for words. I love everything from her hair, her vintage Bulgari jewels. Elegant and well put together. I think I would of switched up the colour, because purple is a trend that has been done.

Emmy Rossum in Kenneth Cole. Trend: Bold. Amongst the red carpet is great to see a striking colour being worn. You have to be so careful when doing so because it can overwhelm you, and you don't want that. Firstly, I never knew that major shoe brand Kenneth Cole did such gorgeous gowns. Secondly, it's great to see something that stands out and is bold.

Alexa Chung in Phillip Lim. Trend: Black & white. Even though Rihanna did a similar ensemble last year with Dolce & Gabbana, Alexa's version is still great. At first I thought is was Chanel. She looks fantastic and I love the spin off the male's suit.

Demi Moore in Lanvin. Trend: Metallic. I wonder if the Rachel Zoe team put this together. I like it a lot. It does make Demi's legs look pale, but the slit is very sexy and the dress accentuates her body.

Melania Trump in Christian Siriano. Trend: Bold. Beautiful gown by Project Runway winner Christian Siriano. The only think that needs to be avoided is the extra layers of fabric, cause it can tend to look like curtaining.

Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior. Trend: Shimmer. I'm surprised that Miss Theron is not wearing this dress, and wasn't at the event. She was busy kissing Keanu no doubt. Marion dazzled in this Dior down and I love the way it tends to look like she was dressed in jewels. Stunning!

Janet Jackson in Lanvin. Trend: Off the shoulder. Firstly, this is the first time I am seeing Ms. Jackson's legs in a dress. WOW! Ta-ta's out and Louboutin heels. We love. I'm not sure if this was satin or velvet, but in the pictures it had a sheen to it like no other. We love it, Jan!

Bar Refaeli in Rag & Bone. Trend: Vixen. Rag & Bone is one of my favourite brands and just to die for! Sports Illustrated cover girl works it out in the short number, and leaves plenty to the imagination. I feel she could of slicked her hair to give a more "wow" factor. The dress is great though.

And the inevitable...

Worst Dressed:

Katy Perry in Cute Circuit. This chick is really starting to annoy me. Ever since she got back from India with Russell Brand, she has been crazy. The other night she wore Jimmy Choo heels with lights and now a dress that lights up. No, bitch! HOT MESS! FINE!

Kirsten Dunst in Rodarte for GAP. Firstly, just look at those shoes. What was she thinking. I mean seriously? WHAT THE HELL. All she needs is a white lace umbrella, a hat and bicycle so she can sing a "spoon full of sugar makes the medicine go down..."

Tina Fey in YSL jumpsuit. This woman never gets it right. NEVER! You need to be skinny to wear a jumpsuit. Doesn't she have friends? Did she hire bulldog lesbians as her stylists. Really, how did she leave the house and say, "Wow, I look good!" and arrive at the MET Ball looking like this. She needs a gay in her life.

Eva Mendes in Dolce & Gabbana. Stafano probably chuckled when he got a call that Eva wants to wear one of his gowns, and with a cigarette in his mouth he yelled at is assistant to send the curtain fabric B-stock. That dress is HILDA! I have never in my life. Curtain fabric made into a dress! YUCK!

Wow! Mimi doesn't mess around. Elizabeth Arden were kind enough to give the songbird an iPad, wait, it gets better, crystalized and embossed with her initial on. Obviously, she will be releasing more fragrances, to stay "Thank You". Producer Jermaine Dupri, holds her iPad in the above picture. All of a sudden, I want a jewel encrusted iPad. Ok, maybe not jewel encrusted, but I do like the iPad.

Mariah is in the recording studio, laying down tracks for her forth coming album, with record producers Jermaine Dupri and Bryan Michael Cox. There are rumours floating around that it will be a Christmas album. Personally, I hope it's a just a new studio album. I really do think the biggest mistake that Mariah did with her previous album, was listen to her fans on Twitter and produce the album solely with one producer: The Dream. So, needless to say I am over the moon that she is back with Jermaine and they have incredible chemistry, as you can see in the video below. Dupri, has done hits for Mariah such as "Always Be My Baby", "It's Like That", "We Belong Together", "Shake It Off", "Get Your Number"and "Don't Forget About Us". Looking forward to her new material.

I'm loving that Beyoncé says she is taking a hiatus, but since that announcements she has featured on a #1 single "Telephone" with superstar Lady Gaga, released a new fragrance, performed alongside hubby Jay-Z at Coachella, shot a video with Alicia Keys for "Put It In A Love Song". Shew, I'm tired even with all of that. I'm not complaining though, because she is not forgotten and she is constantly there, which is awesome.

So there has been some drama regarding the Ne-Yo concert in South Africa. It all began when the artist was a no show at he scheduled press conference. The press conference was supposed to be held in the morning, then got pushed back to the evening. Journos took to their Twitter accounts and were fuming that they were not informed about his whereabouts and what was going on. Only later to find out that he wasn't even the country.

Twitter has been a frenzy all day with hash tags: #finding Ne-Yo. Some people, even said that he has arrived, with proof of a picture of the R&B superstar at the airport. Uuuummm Google Ne-Yo airport, and you find the same picture of him but with a caption - "Ne-Yo seen arriving at Miami International Airport, being approached by a fan while retrieving his baggage. The R&B singer, decked out in Adidas sweats, is set to perform at ESPN's Superbowl bash alongside with Keri Hilson on February 5th". Pathetic! Check the credibility!

But what baffles me the most is that the concert promoter's :BlueBlack (with a fancy website, I might add:) have a video on their website of Ne-Yo announcing tour dates in South Africa off a Blackberry.

If you ask me, it's all very shady like a palm tree in Miami! Thankfully I didn't pay for tickets and won them, so we'll see what happens tonight.

I just heard a snippet of Shakira's song for the FIFA World Cup for South Africa. Firstly, woman sounds like a dying donkey and I am still wondering why she still has a recording contract. He voice was a fad that we enjoyed circa "Laundry Service" days. Even Wyclef's verse on "We Are The World" sounds better. Uuuuummm no, neither sound good. Secondly, she is singing in her chola language and there is a little part where you hear "South Africa" as if it's a shout out?!? Bitch, please! As soon as i heard this song, I was dancing! I love this track so much. Estelle has come out with a fresh club track from her upcoming album "All Of Me", titled "Freak" and produced by none other than superstar DJ David Guetta (This guy is KILLING IT! WOW!). The song samples classic dance track Soul II Soul's "Back To Life (However Do You Want Me)" And is just FIYAH! The video above reminds me of Grace Jones, without nudity. I'm really starting to take notice of Estelle, she unbelievably talented. I can see DJ's mixing the original sampled track into Estelle's track! HOTNESS!

Last week, there were murmurs at the water fountain of the biggest party that was going down in Sun City, that Glaceau Vitamin Water & VW were throwing. Needless to say, I had to be there. Thank my stars I scored an invite last minute. I was not going to miss this one.

Volkswagen were Celebrating the launch of there new car in their series, which is designed exclusively for South Africa. How amazing is that. The car is very cool, and practical. I like it. So we headed of to Sun City and were booked into the gorgeous massive rooms at the Sun City Hotel. And before we knew it, we were showered and dancing to the likes of TKZee and Big Nuz! They killed it. During intervals we took drink breaks, and filled our tummies with delicious lamb. Next up were The Parlatones, which much to my amazement, no one is a fan of their KFC campaign. Anyways, we chatted with Jacques Terrablanche, who is working on something really special with Graeme Richards, which I will blog about in the near future. Also got to meet Tasha Baxter, who is crazy fun! And congratulated ex-Big Brother star Irvan Damon on his recent engagement! Kelly Clarkson, brought the house down, but looked a hot smokin mess. But, she still has those vocals to die for. And, surprisingly enough, but not surprising, Westlife closed the show. They are huge in this country apparently. While more drinks and Glaceau VitaminWater was flowing we got to partying. I now know the meaning of the phrase, "Last Night A DJ Saved My Life" because the DJ was just PHENOMENAL! He played for the crowd and knew his audience. Needless to say, we only got to bed at 5am, and spotted Westlife partying at Traders...really nothing special about them.

A while ago, I posted a series of videos, which I thought to belong to Christina Aguilera, gearing up for long awaited comeback. Alas, the were created by a Swedish singer, Jonna Lee. They would of been great if it were for Christina. Anyways, on to real Christina Aguilera news, in less than 21 hours, we will have a surprise from the songstress from her official website.
